Heart

Heart was born the smallest baby in a litter of 8 kittens (only 86g at birth), but she always had an iron will. She had no problem pushing siblings twice her size out of the way to get to the "milk bar". : ) That tough little baby blossomed into a beautiful kitten and then an amazing show cat and queen. She had very strong type and absolutely gorgeous dark blue eyes, but those were just a few of her many outstanding qualities.

Heart was a wonderful mother; always attentive, always easy-going, and her kittens were exceptionally high in quality. She was the most valuable breeding female we have had to date, and I am sure that it will be a while before anyone will be able to fill her pawprints. ;o)

Unfortunately complications after the birth of her last litter in February 2007 (a mummified foetus that was not born with the others) forced us to choose between risking her health - and quite possibly her life - or spaying her. Needless to say, she was immediately spayed and we have lost her wonderful qualities as a breeding cat forever.

Fortunately, she recovered fully and is now retired, fat and sassy, and living with a wonderful family who has one other Ragdoll, and lots of time and attention to give to her. Many of her wonderful qualities will live on in our breeding program through her children and her grandchildren.
