Otto

Otto is one of the best Ragdolls we have ever bred here at Ragmagic and he has a very special place in our hearts. He was a big, beautiful kitten, and he grew into a big, beautiful cat (8 kg). He has been a very good stud boy, producing kittens with great type and even better temperament.

Otto was very successful in the show ring, both as a kitten and as an adult. He had quite a show career, which included 2 TICA Regional Wins, a Supreme Grand Champion title, and many Best Cat awards. He was only shown once at a traditional-style show, as a teenager. It was the IG-Ragdolls bi-annual Ragdoll Special, where he won just about everything there was to win; Best Variety, Best In Show, Best seal mitted, Best mitted - coming in second best overall to an older bicolor male, who then went on to become a FIFe World Winner.

Otto has been on a two-year break from breeding (thanks to the Suprelorin chip), but he will be bred to one or two more girls before he retires for good, in the hopes that he will produce a suitable HCM N/N replacement with a traditional pedigree; preferably either chocolate or lilac, or carrying chocolate or lilac. After that he will be retired to live out his days here fat and happy, and we hope that we will have the joy of his company for a long time to come.
